3 Hour Course Limit

To minimize the impact on local communities and out of consideration for the volunteers who generously support the event, the Half Marathon has a 3 hour course time limit.

To finish within the official course limit, participants must maintain an average pace of 14:53 per mile. Official finish times will only be recorded for runners who complete the course within 3:15:00.

As the race progresses beyond the 14:53 per mile pace, roads along the course will begin reopening to traffic, and water and aid stations will close. Participants who continue beyond the official course time limit do so at their own risk and should be prepared to carry their own hydration and nutrition, such as fluids and energy gels.

Race staff will begin dismantling the finish line once the course officially closes. Runners who finish after the course time limit and are unable to receive a finisher medal on race day may contact the race office within 48 hours after the event to arrange medal pickup.
